                <div class="text"><p>Christian Friedrich (b. 1977) is a German artist who works in a variety of media, including sculpture, video, sound, and installation. Friedrich’s work has been shown, among others, at Chapter Arts Centre, Cardiff (2018); Goethe-Institut, Amsterdam (2017); Cobra Museum for Modern Art, Amstelveen (2017); Grazer Kunstverein, Graz (2015); De Hallen, Haarlem (2014); De Appel, Amsterdam (2013); Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam (2012); Halfhouse, Barcelona (2010), Städtische Galerie am ZKM, Karlsruhe (2009); and Kunsthaus Baselland, Baselland (2007).</p>
<p>Christian Friedrich is a recipient of the Cobra Art Prize (2017); the Prix de Rome Nomination (2013); the C.o.C.A Foundation Art Prize (2010); and the Werner Stober Foundation Art Prize (2009).</p>
