                <div class="text"><p>Stefan Panhans lives and works in Hamburg, Berlin and elsewhere. As kind of an artistic research his work undertakes a mental archeology of contemporary media and its effects on our minds and bodies and deals with everyday racism, celebrity worship, stereotypes, postcolonial diversity issues on the rise. His work has been widely shown, both nationally and internationally, and received numerous awards. 2017 he received the Edith Russ Haus Grant for Media Art, 2018, and his works where shown most recently for example at Transmediale, Berlin, 2018; MUMOK Cinema, Vienna, 2018; Kunstverein Hildesheim, 2018; Kunstverein Wolfsburg, 2018; Videonale.16, Bonn, 2017; Goethe Institute China, Bejing, 2017; EMAF, Osnabrueck, 2017; 13th Athens Digital Arts Festival, 2017; Galerie im Turm, Berlin, 2017; Kassel Documentary Film and Video Festival, 2017; I SEE International Video Art Festival, 2017, Oslo; Art &amp; Technology Line-up, MAK, Vienna, 2017</p>
