Nobody likes to be left alone. Trying to make a departure undone by means of cinematographic postproduction. The film scene of a woman departing in a convertible is continually scaled up in such a way that the departing movement is neutralized and the protagonist retains her original size. With the physical zoom into the film material the image degrades continually. Film grain increases, sharpness decreases, until the image gets completely absorbed in the film material.
