The other was a tango-dancing couple —man and woman— in a sophisticated system of mirrors and intricate high-tech construction, with the man holding a video camera in such a way that the two are partially visible, partially obscured; the dance itself leading the camera, rendering it mobile and rhythmic. Nevertheless, no effects of blurring or brutality can be seen, but rather a steady, clear and perfect image, probably filmed with autofocus. The image is determined by the rhythm of the dance, while the dance itself remains hidden because, exceptionally, it is a silent video with no soundtrack. Looking at the mirrored dance, one constantly wishes one could listen to the music. By its absence, the music as desire becomes all the more powerful.
